Have you ever wished that the audio quality of your callers could be improved? Without the technical difficulties and expense of providing codecs, you can now receive codec quality calls through your PhoneBOX system.

PhoneBOX HD is a software add on to your existing PhoneBOX Solo or PhoneBOX SIP system, which upgrades your studio soft hybrids to produce significantly higher quality audio results* meaning that you no longer need expensive codecs. Speech quality is improved so your reporter sounds like they’re too in a studio.

In addition to this, should your reporter in a remote location not have access to a traditional codec, Broadcast Bionics can provide a software solution for use from a laptop computer. Codecs, Visual talkback, GPIO and cue lamp can all be provided by PhoneBOX. (Ask us about solutions.)

Supported Audio:

PhoneBOX will auto-detect incoming connections and select the best codec available, ensuring you always have consistently high quality audio calls. PhoneBOX can be configured to use a variety of bit rates and samples rates with the above codecs.

*All audio to and from PhoneBOX HD will be mono.
