Livewire is Axia Audio's unique low-delay and high-reliability audio over switched Ethernet system. Use alone to provide an entirely Livewire based studio facility, or combine with Axia modules (nodes and control surfaces) to provide an elegant, and cost effective alternative to traditional components across your entire enterprise and beyond.
Axia nodes combine with Livewire to provide Audio Snake with up to 250 uncompressed audio signals linked by a single skinny CAT5 cable. By using a node in conjunction with the PC Livewire Audio Drivers, you create a rackmount Pro-grade Audio Card with high quality balanced stereo inputs and outputs.
Uniquely, any source is available at any destination because of the way that Axia distributes audio. Harness the strength of Axia to provide super flexible, scalable Audio Routing Switchers. PC applications are also available to provide powerful Audio Logging and Remote Listening / Monitoring.
By utilising standard fibre, copper or wireless IP links, Axia can also provide uncompressed STLs.
The real strength of Axia is that it can do all these things within a single system. The Element Consoles provide the final link in the chain enables entire studio installations, making siginifcant savings in cost and labour over conventional distribution techniques.
